quarterback challenge

Updates for March 1, 2019

Enjoy these updates regarding upcoming events and athletes from the #QBClub.

Registration for all of our spring and summer programs is in full swing. The Jacksonville Pre-Season Quarterback Prep event taking place July 26-28, 2019 is already at 50% capacity. The Tulsa Elite QB Training taking place June 14-16 is also off to a quick start. We expect this camp along with our July training in Shawnee to be well attended and our biggest camps of the summer. Each of these programs sell out, so if they are in your summer plans, we encourage you to sign-up as soon as possible. You can find our complete schedule of events here: http://www.debartoloqbacademy.com/schedule/.

After a few years of not hosting a program in Boston, we are looking forward to being back there from July 25-28. We hope to have final details available in the coming weeks.

Spring Break Camps

The Spring Break Training programs (Oklahoma City, Jacksonville, and Richmond) all have EXTREMELY limited participation. This means a lot of quality reps and ELITE Coaching.

We will be ordering gear for our spring break programs this week. We highly recommend you let us know if you are coming so we can plan for, and make sure that you have the proper size available for you. The spring break program in Oklahoma City will be led by Coach Joe Dickinson and the Richmond and Jacksonville programs will be led by Coach Ryan Walker.

Regarding our Oklahoma City programs we often receive the question “Why do many of your programs utilize an indoor soccer facility and a hotel or conference center?” There are couple of reasons for this.

  1. In Oklahoma the weather is very unpredictable. We’ve had spring programs where there is snow on the ground, and we’ve had spring programs where it feels like summer. The weather is always the same indoors.

  2. There are very few indoor locations that can accommodate what we want to do and most of them are on a college campus (We avoid that because of NCAA compliance issues) or high school facilities (which leads us to our next point).

  3. The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association has rules that govern the use of its members schools facilities, its coaches, and athletes. There are certain times of the year you can use a high school facility and times you cannot. Our spring break program happens to fall outside of the allowed dates. We will always stay in strict compliance with the OSSAA rules and regulations.

Confirmation details and additional instructions for each spring break program will be available in the coming weeks. If you have specific questions about any of our events, you can always email us at contact@debartolosports.com.

Changes to our website

We are in the process of updating our website. Bear with us as we are “Under Construction”. The new website will offer a fresh new look and will hopefully allow us to showcase the participants in our programs and our events in a much better way. There is no timeline for completion, nor will there be a grand reveal, but if you frequent our website, you’ll notice changes happening.
