This year marks the 10th Annual Tampa Bay High School Football Combine, presented by the Tampa Bay Sports Commission. With so many exceptional student-athletes in attendance, we'd like to provide the opportunity to get to know the players a little before they hit the field at this year's combine.
Mylon Harris, 5'10", 212lbs.
Class of 2017, Linebacker/Fullback, Central Gwinnett High School, FL
Q: "What do you think distinguishes you from every other player in the nation?"
A: "''You are what you repeatedly do,' says Aristotle. My work ethic shows who I am--on and off the field."
Q: "What do you hope to gain out of your participation in the Tampa Bay High School Football Combine?"
A: "I hope to showcase the best of my abilities and maybe excel my abilities. I would also like to make new friends, too!"
Q: "What are your strengths? What do you need to improve on?"
A: "My strengths would be my work ethic, intelligence, and mindset. However, there are many things I need to work on so I can become a better person."
Q: "What extracurricular or community involvement activities do you participate in? What are your hobbies outside of football?"
A: "I have participated as a L.I.T. (Leaders in Training) at the local YMCA. I participate in many political campaigns, such as Republican House candidate Teresa Cantrell."

My coach's cousin once told me that if you want to be the best, you gotta strive and work for it. He quoted from Ricky Bobby of Talladega Nights, "If you ain't first, you're last." That's two mottos I go by. The other one is coined by Brock Lesnar, "Eat, Sleep, Conquer, Repeat. That's it."
